SKIDOOSH BSH SILVER TABBIES

I shall be continually updating this section with details of my young silver classic tabby boy who is now working ( Comment: September 3rd 2009 )

CHAMPION COUNTRYSTYLE SILVER MAXIMUS  (Breed 18) came to live with us in July 2008 from Joanne Hewitson of Countrystyle cats and I am indebted to Joanne for trusting me with him.  He is a very well bred cat, sired by the very impressive Imperial Grand Champion Sargenta Silver Vincento (Breed 18) and his dam is Champion Countrystyle Silver Emily (Breed 18) a most beautiful queen with 1 Grand CC and 1 Res Grand CC.   Both his parents are DNA tested negative for PKD.

Maximus is a well built stocky cat, short legged and sturdy, with a jet black pattern and a good bright silver contrast, with green eyes.  He has a most wonderful gentle loving nature, he's a real softie. Maximus has achieved his GCCF Champion status in his three consecutive shows as an adult in late Summer 2009 ( Durham County, Teesside, and Northern Counties Cat Club Championship shows..)

He is now proved, with one of his silver classic tabby sons Skidoosh Magnus already having been shown and winning 1st Open in his kitten classes with Best of Breed, in 3 consecutive shows at Durham County, Teesside, and lately the Cumberland Cat Club Ch Show on Oct 10th 2009

Kane is our handsome senior silver tabby stud  boy.  He is pictured above at 16 months old in August  '05. Kane's father is Grand Champion Ronaldo Silver Coco ( 18 ) and his silver spotty mum is a daughter of Grand Champion Saunton Silver Samson who features largely on my own pedigrees.  He has an excellent pure silver pedigree and has a good classic tabby pattern of  dense black on a clear medium silver background,  big round eyes of an excellent green colour,  and with a gentle, intelligent open expression.  Kane is FeLV and FIV negative, and also FeCoV( corona virus ) zero titre. 

Kane is available at stud to well bred  healthy queens who are fully negative tested for Feline Leukaemia, FIV and preferably zero titre FeCoV,  and who are Active registered  with a pedigree suitable for silver tabby/ silver spotty breeding.  He has an excellent batchelor pad in a corner of our pleasant and quiet garden with queen's pen and a separate adjacent outside run for his visiting ladies to enjoy some fresh air while they are settling in.  All matings  are properly supervised  and managed, with very careful attention to the comfort, cleanliness and wellbeing of the queen.  Kane has sired only silver tabbies and silver spotties.   We are very pleased with the quality of his kittens.    He does not carry for dilute.  It is now known that he is  conclusively  homozygous for both his silver and his pattern genes and will not throw either smokes or any non silvers, which is a very useful asset.

Kane has proved himself to be a very efficient stud cat,  being keen and persistent but patient and gentle with his ladies.  He is now very well proved and experienced, and having already sired several titled cats to his credit including an Imperial Grand Champion, a Champion, several Grand Premiers and Premiers ( show neuters)

This is Eve, one of Rosie's Christmas babies.  She  now called Roxi as she is such a character that the name suits her better.  Here she is with her new friend who absolutely adores her..

Below is one of Kane's finest achievements, 6 black silver classic tabby kittens born to black silver classic tabby Grand Champion Evawill Diamond Lil  ( now neutered this was her last and best litter..)

One in particular caught my eye, she is named Evawill Cushie Butterfield,  and you may know the old Tyneside folk song  ' She's a big lass and a bonny lass and she likes her beer....' etc ? 

Blossom come to live here with us in April '06.  In the pics above my Blossom is the middle kitten in the top left kitten pic ( 3 kittens ) and her brother Evawill Mr Puddington ( now an Imperial Grand Champion ) is the kitten on her right hanging over the bed frame..
